Skinny Fat to Fit: T25 Week 6 & Keto Diet
So last week I felt so defeated. It was Week 5 of T25 and I weighed in at 130, my starting weight, after dropping down to 127. Now, I know weight fluctuates by a few pounds and I can see the progress on my body, but I still felt so discouraged.
Well, I continued with T25 anyway, and drank more water than I had on the weekend. I weighed myself a few days later and lo and behold, I was back at 127.8. I did miss Tuesday's workout due to lack of motivation, but I added it to the next days and I've been back on track since. Actually I missed this Monday's too, since my little one was sick, but again, I added it to the next days.
So my husband and I have been talking about the Keto Diet. He brought it up months ago that he wanted to try it, so I've been reading about it and watching videos on YouTube and such. We finally decided to start it on Tuesday, so we are currently on Day 4.
I don't feel deprived of food. I don't feel the need to snack. I miss fruit the most though. I've started T25 Beta this week and to be honest I'm a bit underwhelmed with it, even though I did it years ago and should know what to expect. The bright side though, is maybe I shouldn't be overdoing it right now as my body is getting used to this low carb eating. Here's some keto lunch ideas:

Ham and cheddar cheese on Romaine Lettuce, a little mayo spread |
Lettuce wrapped burger, 80-20 Beef, onions, avocado with a side of bacon wrapped jalapeƱos filled with cream cheese and cheddar |
Well, I've been weighing myself more recently lately, even though everyone says NOT to focus on the number. I've found that I hit my lowest weight in the middle-end of the week and my highest at the beginning of the week. I imagine it's because I don't drink as much water on the weekend and we go out to eat or indulge. Hopefully that won't be the case this weekend.
Anyway, today I have hit a NEW LOW!

I actually haven't seen that number in a few years. I'm going to continue and see what my body does and if it can handle this very dramatic change. Fingers crossed!!
**UPDATE: Day 6 on Keto, still 125.4 even though I've started my period. I am LOVING my body right now!
