Skinny Fat to Fit: T25 Week 6 & Keto Diet

Image
So last week I felt so defeated. It was Week 5 of T25 and I weighed in at 130, my starting weight, after dropping down to 127. Now, I know weight fluctuates by a few pounds and I can see the progress on my body, but I still felt so discouraged. Well, I continued with T25 anyway, and drank more water than I had on the weekend. I weighed myself a few days later and lo and behold, I was back at 127.8.  I did miss Tuesday's workout due to lack of motivation, but I added it to the next days and I've been back on track since. Actually I missed this Monday's too, since my little one was sick, but again, I added it to the next days. So my husband and I have been talking about the Keto Diet. He brought it up months ago that he wanted to try it, so I've been reading about it and watching videos on YouTube and such. We finally decided to start it on Tuesday, so we are currently on Day 4. I don't feel deprived of food. I don't feel the need to snack. I miss fruit the

T25 week 5: weigh in

Okay, so the first 2 weeks of T25 were going great. I was motivated, I didn't have any eating slip ups. I felt stronger each day. Then I went out of town... Actually, that was at the end of week 2. I packed my lunch and dinner and picked up a low-er cal option from McDonald's (egg mcmuffin). It was an overnight trip,  14 hrs there, sleep, go to a quick ceremony, 14 hrs back. Well, it started off great, and then there, I met up with my husband who I hadn't seen in a couple months. We decided to order food in and I super binged and it was so good to have so many carbs again!! On the roadtrip back... fried chicken . Not to mentioned I skipped those 2 days of working out. The following week, even though I woke early to workout, I was sick and couldn't put my all into it. And I wasn't adding extra workouts. I had been doing at least 2 treadmill jogs and one session where I pretended I knew what I was doing with weights. Week 4 went a lot better! Gave the workout

Kids Summer Schedule with Spanish Worksheets

That bittersweet time of the year has come! The one where you're happy to not HAVE to wake up early, but where you now have kids to entertain ALL DAY! I usually have the kids do some schoolwork in the summer. I feel like it sets a schedule so their days aren't mush, and also gives them some knowledge so they don't return to school completely clueless. Now, I am definitely NOT one of those moms that has their stuff together, if you know what I mean, so my schedule isn't completely structured. It kind of starts when I'm done with my breakfast/ coffee/ scrolling social media. Bedtime? If we don't have anywhere to be the next day, then I don't care what time they go to bed, as long as it's before midnight. These kids still worked hard all year, so I'm not going to keep them on a 8-3 school work schedule. Not to mention, I have told them they will be doing a summer sport too. My 11 year old is doing soccer, while my 7 year old will try out gymnastics (

Night Time Kitchen Cleaning

I wish this was a How-To Kitchen Cleaning Routine. But to be honest, I despise night time, after dinner kitchen cleaning! Everyone has left to their devices in their rooms, husband included. Baby has been given a bath and night time milk. You'd think I could go and relax with everyone else. BUT NOO ! I have to come back to the kitchen and clean up after everyone, after ALL the hard work of making dinner and serving everyone. I'm trying to look at this in the way of- say a restaurant. There is no joy in it, but it must be done and cleared so that the next meal may be enjoyed! To make it a tad more tolerable, I've put on a Mud Mask so that I ar least HAVE TO do something for the next 10-15ish minutes. Oh, and this kitchen will not be magazine worthy. Dishes will be picked up. Leftovers set aside, trash cleared, floor swept, MAYBE counter tops sprayed and wiped. Clutter on the counter??? That pile of mail can wait. The recycling can wait. It will live to see another da
